Strengthening Bilateral Collaboration with the Embassy of China in Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur - Akademi Kepimpinan Pendidikan Tinggi (AKEPT) recently conducted a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kuala Lumpur to explore potential collaboration in leadership and capacity-building programmes.
The AKEPT delegation was led by Professor Dr. Harshita Aini binti Haroon, Director of AKEPT, and accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Ummu Atiyah binti Ahmad Zakuan, Deputy Director, Centre for Research in Leadership and Global Outreach (CRO), Mr. Mohamad Amarullah bin Azmi, Principal Assistant Director, CRO and Ms. Nur Ika Anthasha binti Zainol Abidin from the Director’s Office.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Zhao Changtao, Counsellor, and Mr. Tan Jing, Second Secretary (Education Affairs), Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.
The visit served as a strategic platform to explore collaborative opportunities aimed at strengthening academic and institutional leadership, as well as advancing young academic mobility to higher education institutions in China.
This engagement reflects AKEPT’s continued commitment to fostering meaningful international partnerships and advancing high-impact leadership development initiatives towards a more dynamic and globally connected higher education ecosystem.
