OVERVIEW

Institutional leadership refers to the adherence and action of the individual to drive the institutions which eventually opens up some essential aspects of organizational leadership capability. They are outstanding individuals who combine the ability to inspire and lead with the clear vision and mission of the future direction of HLI.s.

They have the potential to lead their academic community and entity based on their service performance. In the university setting, institutional leadership positions have always been considered as temporary appointments for a stipulated period of time.

Examples of such typical management leadership appointments are for the posts of Director, Dean, Deputy Vice Chancellor, and Vice Chancellor.
