AL 402: MALAYSIAN HIGHER EDUCATION POLICIES & REFORMS

OVERVIEW

The module will allow participants to examine factors that contribute to, and influence, higher education policies. Models and concepts that apply in the development of the policies will be explored, as will policy change and development in the Malaysian context. The module also scrutinizes policy implementation issues and discusses provisions in Acts related to Higher Education to ensure that academic leaders possess some level of legal literacy relevant to the academic profession and the higher education ecosystem.
